I had Gas Connect install a new boiler and smart thermostat for me many years ago based on the recommendation of a friend. Having someone [I believe] who works solely in the office able to take phone calls and schedule quotes and visits makes such a welcome ease to the customer experience. My boiler was fitted with no disruption or mess caused to me nor my home and I used Gas Connect to service the boiler annually from then on. The engineer, Martin, lived fairly locally to me and would always be very friendly and guide me through what he had done/altered during each service.

Ten years after that installation I received a phone call from Quiller to advise me that my warranty was coming to an end. By this point I had not only moved out of that house but also moved counties. I told Quiller that coincidently I actually needed a new boiler and perhaps a slight reconfiguration of the area where my boiler is situated in my new home. Quiller went out of his way to forward me details of a company he was aware of in my local area who he would recommend which shows a great level of service and respect for both his customers and trade.

We had our 30 year old boiler in kitchen replaced by Gas Connect 11 years ago. We moved to a Vaillant combi boiler system and put it in the loft to give us much more storage space. This resulted in no need for a water tank and gave us space back in our upstairs airing cupboard too.

The system works very well and the on demand water is great. It’s been very well designed and we had an additional radiator added in kitchen as part of the installation. I did have reservations about a combi system at outset but Gas Connect made me feel comfortable with the concept and I love it.

The maintenance plan we took out and still have is invaluable and, has saved us lots of money on any replacement parts or issues we have had with the boiler/associated central heating system over the years.

Gas Connect provide emergency cover and prompt assistance.

I am writing to say a big thank you to Martin Walker who recently fixed my downstairs toilet. Martin was very prepared for the job and made sure that all parts replaced were standard, easily replaceable and working. Also thank you to Martin for teaching me about dead legs and encouraging me to contact the company that recently installed a new water main.
